Munich fashion week has just passed and our buyers at Havren had the pleasure of attending ‘In Fashion Munich’ the extravagant Trade Fair known for fashion and accessories of only the highest quality, presented by the most exclusive labels. The three-day event took place at the Praterinsel, a popular location set in the middle of the lively city. This was our first time visiting this marvellous city and we can be sure to say that it won’t be our last. As a lifestyle capital, Munich is both tranquil and buzzing at the same time and has something for everyone.
Although known by many for its annual beer festival Oktoberfest, the city has much more to offer and is Germany’s top place for art, science and culture. Internationally its known for its collection of ancient classic and modern art and it has also been home and host to many famous composers and musicians.
There are endless museums, to visit and an array of beautiful opera houses and gothic churches. Whilst we were there we were fortunate enough to have some leisurely time to soak up the fairy tale charm and admire the stunning architecture. From Baroque churches to interesting galleries, the city holds centuries of historical buildings but is also interjected with modern structures such as the Museum Brandhorst, home to modern art by the likes of Damien Hirst. Luckily for us we managed to get the full essence of the beautiful city.
