Dressing for The Races

The races are just around the corner with the Festival at Cheltenham kicking off on the 15th March and ending with its last event on the 18th March.  This event epitomises everything about the races, it is therefore time to shop for the perfect outfit to ensure you stand out from the crowd. Dressing for the races is one of our highlights of this series of events. However, whilst it can also prove to be a dilemma, our new line of elegant and classy occasion wear dresses will have you sorted in no time. It’s time to celebrate one of the oldest sports in England in style whilst sipping on champagne and enjoying a fabulous picnic of course.

Ladies day is the main event that we look forward to. Taking place on the 16th March, this really is the day to dress up in all your finery and mix with the most fashionable crowd of course. Whether you choose to wear your favourite heels or the smartest hat, make sure you get your dress right first as this really is an occasion to perfect and look your most glamorous.

When it comes to dresses we strongly believe they should be knee length or below the knee for this event. We also believe a cover up is essential to compliment the outfit and keep that chill at bay. Here are some of our favourite dresses and cover up pieces to ensure that your feeling great and looking the part on the day.

If your looking to make a long lasting impression then our Rosie Fit and Flare Dress is something unique that will ensure you stand out from the crowd. Cut to a classic fit, this dress features a beautiful floral print, and a v-shape neckline. The knee length of the dress compliments the occasion and will flatter the figure. It looks excellent with strappy sandals and our White Tabitha Shrug and teaming it with these will most certainly complete the look.

For something similar in style but not as colourful, opt for our Olivia Fit and Flare Dress. This dress is perfect if your feeling the monochrome trend and are wishing to look classically elegant. You can add a pop of colour with a clutch bag or by choosing from any of our new shrugs or cardis. If you wanted to stick to the classic look then opt for our Black Tabitha Shrug. Either way make sure you accessorize accordingly. Think hair fascinators, black strappy heels and a nice big clutch bag.

If the fit and flare shape isn’t for you then perhaps you might prefer our Alice Ruched Dress? Chic and feminine this dress will flatter any figure and ensure you look elegant whilst sipping on champagne and socialising with fellow fashionistas. Featuring a crochet trim neckline and ruched detailing, this dress is versatile and will also carry you through to the evening whatever you decide to do. We would recommend adding a pop of colour and covering up with our Raspberry Tabitha Shrug.
